Among the Willows

What does Among the Willows mean? For me, it began in childhood, where I had a huge weeping willow tree in my backyard. I loved that tree and spent countless hours swinging from its branches, reading books in its shade and discovering the world through play. Beneath that willow tree, I felt safe and free to explore. It was my sanctuary. I loved it so much that I always said that someday I would be married under it – and I was.

The sacredness I experienced under that tree is what I hope to share with you as you explore your spirituality. Whether we gather indoors or outdoors, I want to bring to you that same sense of rootedness, wonder, and sacred connection. Among the Willows is more than a name; it’s an invitation to step into space of discovery and spiritual growth, where love and commitment are honored alongside learning and community.
