In 2004, I married my husband in a Christian ceremony in South India. A year later, we had a wedding for my American family. I wanted a ceremony that honored both of our cultural traditions and blended my Pagan UU beliefs with his Hindu and Catholic beliefs. That was a tall order to ask of any officiant, so I wrote our wedding ceremony myself.

I know firsthand how often interfaith couples struggle to create a wedding that feels authentic without worrying about offending family and friends. I believe your wedding day should be exactly that—your day. My role is to help you design a ceremony that honors your beliefs, respects your families, and creates a space where everyone present feels welcomed and comfortable.

My role as an officiant is to support couples in celebrating their love in a way that reflects who they truly are. If you feel you need to compromise your beliefs out of concern for others’ reactions, I may not be the right person for you.

I celebrate love in all its forms. I gladly officiate LGBTQ+ weddings, handfastings, and commitment ceremonies. All couples are welcome. Prices start at $150 plus travel expenses and vary based on the level of customization you’re looking for.
